Now Introducing: grateful and honest

A new page is launching on Instagram this February – a sanctuary of self-expression via five/seven/five haikus; grateful and honest.

This February, a new page is launching on Instagram – a small sanctuary of short form self-expression.

The name of the project is “grateful and honest.”

The idea behind this new project is to share thoughts that can be understood as a conveyance of gratitude – even if the thoughts acknowledge adversity or unhappiness. Thoughts expressed should be recorded at random, meaning that one thought may be entirely unrelated to the ones shared directly before or after it. Each thought is shared in a five, seven, five rhythmic haiku, and is a completely honest reflection of the author.

There is no set date on the beginning and end of this project. The Instagram page will become active this month, and the haikus shared will likely be segmented into 13-week seasons, with a new and unique haiku being shared every day of the week until the supply of new haikus is run out.

To follow along with the development of this project, follow @gratefulandhonest on Instagram today! For more information on self-expression and discovery, subscribe to our newsletter for free below.
